The greatest contributor to my happiness is being grateful for what I have. I accepted everything that happened to me in the past, I am loving the present, while looking very optimistically into the future. I have accepted myself and I have embraced all of my good qualities. I know I have a lot of work to do in some areas but I’m so happy with who I am that it doesn’t even matter.
I love everything I own. I love my house, my old Jeep, my furniture, the rugs, all my power tools, my stocks, my 401K, my credit cards, my debt, and everything else I own. I am so grateful for the items I possess that I can say they contribute to my happiness.
I love everyone around me. I love my family and everyone in it, I love my friends, I love my coworkers, I love every boss I ever had, I love my cat, I love all the people I ever met. I am so grateful for everyone in my life that I can say they contribute to my happiness.
I love all the bad things that ever happened, I love the major car accident I was in that literally broke my face, I love the dumb mistakes I’ve made in high school, where I was kicked out last day of my junior year, I love that I got fired from 3 jobs in my life for mistakes I’ve made, I love that I crashed my motorcycle 3 times, I love that I dropped out of college my first time, I love that I failed at selling real-estate in 2008, OK, I can go on forever. I am so grateful for all the mistakes I’ve made in my life that I can say they contribute to my happiness.
I choose to love my life and celebrate every day. I’m so grateful that I have a great job to provide the income I need to survive, I love the vacations I take, I love the time I spend with everyone I love.
So, How do I love so much?
I choose my friends and surround myself with great friends. We feed off each other’s success and happiness.
I choose the groups I joined on Facebook. I see so many silly, cute, and happy things every day that it brings more joy and happiness in my life.
I choose to take many happy vacations, sometimes just a day trip is all you need to recharge and feel like you’re on the best vacation ever.
I choose not to watch the news, I think we can all agree why.
I choose to talk about happy, motivational, successful things, I love big ideas, and I love discussing good things.
I choose to learn more about happiness and practice it every day.
I choose not to complain about life. I accept the bad and carry on.
I choose for only good things in my life and the more I choose good things, the more good options I have to choose from.
My life is awesome and I love everything about it, that is why I want to share it and help everyone else. I love my new adventure and I know I will change the world. We can all choose to find happiness in our lives.
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes … the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. … They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” ~Steve Jobs~
I also choose not to preach to you how to live your life. I only share what is going well for me and how it makes me happy. I hope to inspire you not to be like me but to make your own happiness.
