Sometimes we just don’t have a choice. We get something and we have to live with it.
We got 2 of the worst experiences in 2020! COVID and racial tensions.
We have to live with what we got this year. It’s a terrible time for all of us but we have to focus on the future and how we will come out of this.
The best way I know how to make it through this, is by focusing on the positives during these hard times. Choose anything you want that has been a positive in your life… such as spending more time with the family, learning to cook new things, having more time to learn a new skill, appreciating the differences in all of us, seeing diverse groups of people uniting, …
I want to stress that what we focus on we see as reality and if you choose to focus on the positive things you will feel better even if it seems like it’s all bad now.
I started running when the gyms closed and now I ❤️ running. I discovered that running helps me reduce stress and gives me more energy to push me the rest of the day. This is my way to choose happiness and hopefully it can inspire you to think about positives in your life 🙂
